Effective date: October 15, 2026
- The House Directory helps people find what's happening on Saturdays in college towns. It only works if listings are real, safe and respectful.
- This policy explains what's allowed and how moderation works. It's part of our Terms of Use.
- Organizers also follow the Event Organizer Responsibilities.
- Reports and takedowns follow the Reporting & Takedown Procedures.
College Fraturday is owned and operated by BFT Digital LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company.
1. Who can take part
- Browsing needs no account.
- Community participation is for people 18 or older. That covers listings, organizer tools, comments, interest and props.
- Listing requests, house claims and comments require ticking the Terms acceptance box, which is never pre-checked. We record the policy version and the time.
- Interest and props are one-tap, anonymous signals with no acceptance box. They're still for people 18 or older and covered by the Terms, and the Site says so next to the buttons.
- Only organizers authorized by the house, chapter, club or team they represent may list it.
- We verify every organizer outside the Site before anything is published, for example through a message from the group's official account or an email from a domain it controls.
2. What can be listed
- Name:
- the house or organization's legitimate name, as text only;
- no logos, crests or marks used as branding;
- nothing implying endorsement by a national organization, school or sponsor.
- General area: a neighborhood or street name. No house numbers.
- Public contact (optional): an @handle or a link to the group's own official page.
- Exact address (optional, discouraged):
- only if the organizer confirms the residents authorized it to be public;
- we still decide whether to publish it;
- public venues are the typical case.
- No photos, videos or other media. The Site doesn't accept uploads.
3. Saturday events
- Saturdays only, up to 8 weeks ahead.
- Each event shows one access status that the organizer must honor: Open to Public, Invite Only, Members Only or No Public Event. The full rules are in the Event Organizer Responsibilities.
- Not allowed:
- unlawful alcohol-related activity: serving or providing alcohol to anyone under the legal drinking age, unlicensed alcohol sales, charging entry or "donations" for alcohol, or forced or dangerous drinking;
- hazing, or unsafe or illegal activity, weapons, drugs, or harassment;
- selling tickets or charging entry through the Site;
- links in event details;
- addresses in event text.
4. Comments, interest and props
- Comments:
- text only, up to 280 characters;
- no links, @tags, addresses or phone numbers;
- every comment is reviewed before publication; nothing posts automatically.
- Organizers' own listings: organizers can hide a published comment on their own listing immediately. It then returns to us for review.
- Interest: counts appear only at five or more. We never show who tapped.
- Props: positive only. No downvotes and no rankings of people.
- Manipulation: we may discount, hide or reset counts we believe were manipulated.
5. How review works
| Change | Review |
|---|---|
| New listing | Reviewed before publication |
| Organizer claim of an existing listing | Verified before access is granted; a separate manage code is issued |
| New event | Reviewed before publication |
| Material change to a listing or event | Reviewed before publication |
| Organizer cancels or unpublishes | Immediate |
| Comment | Reviewed before publication |
| Admin hide or removal | Immediate |
- We aim to decide each item within two business days.
- We may decline anything that doesn't fit this policy, and we don't owe a detailed reason.
- Every decision is recorded in our internal audit log.
6. Enforcement
- Hide: reversible removal from public view, for example during an investigation.
- Remove: permanent removal from public view.
- Revoke: an organizer's access ends immediately and their manage code stops working.
- Repeat or serious violations: we may permanently remove the listing and end the organization's or person's eligibility. This includes repeat infringement of others' copyrights or trademarks.
7. Appeals
- If you think we got a decision wrong, email support@collegefraturday.com with:
- the listing, event or comment;
- what happened;
- why it should be reconsidered.
- We aim to review appeals within five business days. A different decision isn't guaranteed.
8. Privacy reminders
- Don't post private information about anyone.
- Keep your manage code secret, and rotate it from Organizer tools if you think it's been shared.
- Verification details are used only to verify you, and are deleted once your request is decided.
9. Not an endorsement
- Listings and events come from organizers. College Fraturday doesn't host, sponsor, supervise or endorse them, and isn't affiliated with any school or organization listed.
- Use your judgment, look out for your friends, and follow local laws and campus rules.
